It is really kind of wacky in this day and age of amp upgrades to make the tubes so hard to access and leave so little room for the speaker. His work around was to put a piece of old leather as a buffer between the speaker magnet and the tubes and to leave the bottom of the back panel not screwed in all the way so it is sticking out a bit. I found a great deal on an almost new Greenback 10 on, ironically from a seller who bought it for his AC10c1 but then found a deal on a Celestial Gold 10. I just recently bought the new AC10c1 and while it sounds pretty dang nice out of the box I knew it would sound better with an upgraded speaker (and tubes).
